The Ancient Theatre of Taormina is a Greek-Roman theatre carved into the hillside, its cavea opening onto the Ionian Sea with Mount Etna in the distance. Managed by Parco Naxos Taormina, every summer it hosts concerts, operas, film festivals and award ceremonies. Its natural backdrop makes it one of Italy's most iconic open-air stages.
