Angevin Aragonese castle rising from the sea at the entrance of Gallipoli old town, founded on Roman and Byzantine fortifications. Today it is a cultural venue hosting exhibitions, concerts, events and ceremonies in the evocative ennagonal hall and the circular tower rooms.
