The Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino is the modern opera house of Florence designed by Paolo Desideri. The Sala Grande seats around 1,800, the Zubin Mehta Auditorium is adjustable from 500 to 1,100 seats and the rooftop Cavea holds 2,000 people outdoors with views over the city. It is an exceptional venue for concerts, conventions and award ceremonies.
