Palazzo Vecchio is the town hall of Florence overlooking Piazza della Signoria and a symbol of Florentine civic power. The monumental Salone dei Cinquecento, 54 metres long and frescoed by Vasari, hosts institutional ceremonies, award nights and gala dinners of the highest prestige. Other historic rooms such as the Salone dei Dugento and the Sala de' Gigli are also available.
